Vila Olímpia, the district that works by day and entertains by night
Technology companies, startups and multinationals by day; packed bars and restaurants at night. What Vila Olímpia is today and what is changing.
Technology, the Marginal and JK within the same radius
Between Marginal Pinheiros, Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek and Itaim, Vila Olímpia brings together modern corporate buildings occupied by technology companies, startups, fintechs and multinational offices. JK Iguatemi, Shopping Vila Olímpia and Rua Funchal are a few minutes from one another.
The public is young, connected and used to getting around on foot. After work, bars, restaurants and nightclubs keep the district busy, and many business conversations happen outside the office.
In Vila Olímpia, the workplace doesn't end at the building's door.
Room to choose, and rising value
While Faria Lima and Itaim concentrate the competition for space, Vila Olímpia tends to offer more choice of floor plans and buildings. For companies that need to grow without paying the price of the neighboring avenue, this margin of choice is the main attraction.
The district has also been appreciating in value, driven by its proximity to the JK axis and the growing presence of technology companies. It is an area that still leaves room to negotiate, but becomes more contested with each cycle.
From office floor to street-front unit
For technology and service companies, Vila Olímpia speaks the language of the people they want to hire and do business with. The most recent buildings tend to offer efficient office floors and infrastructure for fast-growing operations.
On the ground floor and in the surrounding streets, the flow of professionals during the day and the nightlife sustain restaurants, cafés, gyms, bars and services. Few districts in São Paulo keep a public in both shifts.
